MWC AUTOMATIC CABLE PREPARATION MACHINE

MWC KABLATOR
All in one machine.
CUT TO MEASURE, STRIPPING, CRIMPING and MARKING.
Modular platform that enables the efficient and standardised processing of electrical wires, simplifying the wire assembly process.
It encompasses all electrical wire preparation steps in the same machine. Saves up to 50% of wire preparation time compared to manual processing.
In subservience to the MPC 325 robotic wiring machine.
MWC Automatic cable preparation machine
Designed for use in medium-sized switchboard production, it reduces wire preparation time and makes the wiring process more efficient and on-demand.
WHAT BENEFITS YOU GET WITH KABLATOR MWC
1 PRODUCES COMPLETE PACKAGES OF WIRES by means of a fully automatic;
2 LABEL THE CABLES so that they only have to be plugged into the control cabinet;
3 PRACTICAL USE by the operator thanks to a panel with easy and intuitive interfaces and simple recipe data acquisition;
4 MORE EFFICIENCY AND FLEXIBILITY thanks to the machine’s small size, which encloses all cable preparation tools;
5 REDUCTION OF UP TO 50% TIME in cable preparation;
6 HIGH QUALITY thanks to automated work processes and guaranteed by a quality control system;
7 Optimisation and consequent INCREASE IN PRODUCTIVITY of the specific stage and throughout the process;
8 INDUSTRIA 4.0 Real-time collection, analysis and sharing of production data to enable effective and efficient intervention in the production process.
HOW THE AUTOMATIC CABLE PROCESSING MACHINE WORKS
Highest level of automation, minimises manual labour
Cable preparation time reduced by 50%.
The operator only has to load the cables into the wire change magazine, select the work recipe from the machine’s HMI panel and start the process. When finished, all he has to do is pick up the ordered cables from the intelligent magazine, ready to be placed in the control cabinet.
AUTOMATED CABLE PREPARATION
The automatic wire selection and feeding system can handle wire sections from 0.5 to 10 mm2, and can be configured up to 32 wires without any tool change.
Stripping and cutting to length is done precisely and appropriately according to the set recipe.
Crimping and assembly can be done with ferrules and cable lugs from 0.5 to 10 mm².
Head-to-tail thread marking and labelling can be carried out according to different techniques, directly on the thread with UV laser technology (high contrasts and freedom of content), by means of an Inkjet printer, or by classic labelling with tags and marking tubes (wire marking).
At the end of the process, the Kablator MWC machine will collect the processed wires in an orderly and sequential storage warehouse, configurable by the operator according to section, colour, length and finish defined in the design phase, with a capacity of up to 1,500 wires. Or in subservience to the MPC 325 robotic cable-laying machine.
Ideal for those who want to take the first step towards automation, while keeping the construction of the switchboard still manual.
Workflow processing by software
The Kablator software and operator panel interface guide the user safely through the finishing process thanks to the 3D Digital Twin present. The software controls all process steps and stages in real time and the operator can enter and save work recipes via simple digital files.
Laser marking: + eco-sustainability + contrasts + freedom
At MWC, cable marking can be done by UV laser, which allows a high degree of freedom in terms of content, greater scope for contrasts, and an eye towards sustainability thanks to the elimination of ink printing mechanisms. In addition, the maintenance of a laser system has less impact on the production cycle.
Guaranteed quality and durability and up to 50% time savings.

Comparison of cable assembly solutions
Switchboard manufacturers have a choice of different cable assembly solutions on the market, ranging from fully manual to automated machines for individual processes. Given the demands of the market, a fully automated solution for cable preparation, and therefore ideal for the pre-assembly phase of cables, is the future. It improves the process and saves time.
Efficiency gains with reduced costs and time
MWC fully meets this need and for a medium-sized investment allows a modular and therefore customisable automated solution that can be integrated into existing production processes with maximum flexibility and production quality.
KABLATOR MWC is part of the Kablator Ecosystem for cabling automation.
We support switchboard manufacturers and are aware of the challenges they face every day and in the future. We offer innovative products and excellent quality solutions for every phase of switchboard construction, thus generating added value for you and your customers.
