MPC 325 AUTOMATIC MACHINE FOR CABLE WIRING
MPC 325 KABLATOR
ROBOTIC WIRING
CUT TO MEASURE, STRIPPING, CRIMPING, MARKING AND CABLING.
Fully automated assembly, laying and insertion of wires into the electrical panel or push-in and push-x components using a robotic system.
Kablator MPC325 automatic machines for wiring electrical panels are equipped with an artificial intelligence-based vision system and a robotic arm with a specific end effector (gripper) for precise manipulation and positioning of electrical wires.
Designed for use in the production of industrial electrical panels, they reduce wiring times, making the process more efficient and on-demand.
The highest level of automation minimises manual work.
The operator simply has to place the cables in a warehouse and put the reels in the machine’s rack, select the work recipe from the machine’s HMI panel (even remotely), place the components or the electrical panel and start the process. At the end, they simply have to remove the finished components or the electrical panel with the wires laid out.
Wiring time reduced by up to 80%.

DISCOVER THE BENEFITS OF
KABLATOR MPC 325
1 Up to 80% reduction in wiring time for electrical panels or terminals;
2 Error-free cable wiring thanks to the automated procedure with input from the wiring diagram;
3 Consistently high quality thanks to automated work processes and a quality control system;
4 Easy to use for the operator thanks to a panel with simple and intuitive interfaces and easy recipe data acquisition;
5 Free up human resources for other more demanding tasks by performing repetitive or physically demanding tasks;
6 Greater efficiency and flexibility thanks to the compact size of the machine, which contains all the tools needed for cable preparation and laying.
AUTOMATED ROBOTIC WIRING OF ELECTRICAL PANELS
In addition to all the features found in the MWC (automatic cable preparation machine), there is a subsequent phase, namely the wiring of the electrical panel with robotic wire laying.
The wire is positioned inside the ducts using a robotic arm. The machine performs cable routing autonomously.
The robotic arm is equipped with a 3D + RGB camera at the top, which guides the robot when inserting the wire into the channel to avoid collision with the channel ends, facilitating positioning between the teeth.
The working area is 3 x 2 x 0.5 m, but thanks to the seventh axis, it can be easily expanded.
The presence of force sensors, given the robot’s collaborative nature, allows for very precise force control during the wire laying phase inside the duct.
The laying speed can reach up to 500 mm/s. This allows for quick and error-free wiring without the need for a connection diagram.

AUTOMATED ROBOTIC WIRING OF PUSH-IN AND PUSH-X COMPONENTS

The MPC robotic machine will receive the processed wires directly from MWC, ready to be wired, thus completing the next phase, namely the wiring of the individual components.
The wire is wired into the push-in and push-x components using a robotic arm equipped with a double-axis gripper for precise orientation and gripping of the wire head and tail.
After receiving the wire directly from MWC thanks to artificial vision guidance and following the wiring diagram, the robot will insert the cable into the correct connection point in the component.
Connection quality guaranteed by thrust and tensile force testing with documented report.
The work area is 3 metres long.
The robotic arm is equipped with a 3D + RGB camera at the top that enables robot guidance.
This allows for quick and error-free wiring without the need for a connection diagram.
The operator can decide to load terminals and components in series, or directly load the DIN rail with the components already positioned according to the design.
Ideal for those who want to automate the entire cabling process, from cutting to laying the cable, including all intermediate steps.
Workflow processing by software
The Kablator software and operator panel interface guide the user safely through the finishing process thanks to the 3D Digital Twin feature. The software controls all stages and steps of the process in real time, and the operator can enter and save work recipes using simple digital files.
Laser marking: + eco-sustainability + contrasts + freedom
At MPC, cable marking can be done by UV laser, which allows a high degree of freedom in terms of content, greater scope for contrasts, and an eye towards sustainability thanks to the elimination of ink printing mechanisms. In addition, the maintenance of a laser system has less impact on the production cycle.
Guaranteed quality and durability and up to 50% time savings.

Comparison of cabling solutions
For the first time, electrical panel builders have access to advanced technology to automate the wiring phase, a process that is very time-consuming and resource-intensive. Wiring technicians will be supported by technology that facilitates their operations and drastically reduces time and effort.
Efficiency gains with reduced costs and time
MPC fully meets this need, addressing the daily challenges faced by electrical panel manufacturers, such as the need to reduce production times and standardise quality. With a medium-sized investment, it offers a modular and customisable automated solution that can be easily integrated into existing production processes, thus ensuring maximum flexibility and production quality.
KABLATOR MPC is part of the Kablator Ecosystem for cable automation.
We support electrical panel builders and are aware of the challenges they face every day and will face in the future. We offer innovative products and high-quality solutions for every stage of electrical panel construction, thereby generating added value for you and your customers.
